Advance in injection molding of short fiber-thermoplastic polyurethane

The advance in injection molding of short fiber (SF) - thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) was reviewed with 42 references. SF-TPU injection molding was similar to that of general polymers, but it also had its own characteristics. The relationships between heat transfer, flow, fiber orientation and process conditions in SF-TPU injection molding were studied by many researchers, but the interrelation between fiber and flow, the effect of front-flow on fiber orientation in injection molding should be researched further.
