PRESSURE DEPENDENCE OF HIGH-Tc SUPERCONDUCTING OXIDES.

Pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature T//c and the lattice parameter for high-T//c oxides is discussed on the basis of Cyrot's model in which T//c is proportional to t**2/U (t is the transfer integral and U the intraatomic Coulomb repulsion). The relation between dT//c/dP and K//vT//c (K//v is the volume compressibility) is examined in connection with the empirical relation found for magnetic compounds with an antiferromagnetic superexchange interaction in which T//N is proportional to t**2/U.
