摘要：

The components of a consecutive-k-out-of-n:F system is can be arranged either in a straight line or a circle. Upper and lower bounds are derived for linear and circular consecutive-k-out-of-n:F systems with equal component failure probabilities when the latter are less than k/(k plus 1).
