Numerical calculation of transient behaviours for natural circulation system with a jet pump

摘要
On the basis of basic conservation equations, lumped parameter method was applied to main control volume. In the mathematical model, fluid flow along the circulation system was assumed to be one dimensional and temperature of fluid was uniform across the channel cross section. The program developed can be used in microcomputer to calculate transient behaviours of natural circulation system with a jet pump. The comparison with experimental results shows that the calculating results are reliable and its mathematical model can be applied to transient analysis of same type system with a deviation less than 20%.
