Time Diagram Analysis of Torque of an Induction Machine Supplied by a Current Source Inverter.

An analysis is considered of the electromagnetic torque of an induction machine supplied by current source inverter without and with current pulse width modulation. Results of digital calculation of time diagrams of the electromagnetic torque for a motor at standstill and a generator in operation are presented, along with equations for harmonic amplitude of this torque supplied by current without and with pulse width modulation. The theoretical calculations have been illustrated by laboratory test results of a model frequency controlled system of a 4kw machine.
