The authors describe some technical aspects of Chinese medical computer diagnosis, mainly, the mathematical model of traditional Chinese medicine. They also expound the necessity of applying fuzzy set theory to the model building, the formulation of membership function, the adoption of floating threshold method in the course of diagnosis, etc. , with examples of the application of the system and its effects.
