Based on the existing preliminary figures the author analyses the development of power consumption for 1985. In his discussion of supply and demand he describes the continuing change in energies used for power generation, especially obvious in 1985. He also reports on the extension of the power plant park and the development of the maximum load of public supply. After a section on the progression of power prices the author gives a preview of future developments.
