Two-stage condensation of a steam-ammonia mixture makes it possible to obtain a condensate with a low ammonia content and concentrated ammonia water. In the production of ammonium fluoride-difluoride from waste fluosilicic gases this creates the conditions for a sharp reduction of ammonia and fluorine losses in practically all stage. It is estimated that the industrial realization of two-stage condensation of a steam-ammonia mixture with the use of the condensates formed to wash the ammonium fluoride from the powdered silica gel and to neutralize the silico fluoride will increase the degree of utilization of ammonia from 35 to 95-97% and the degree of utilization of ammonia from 35 to 95-97% and the degree of utilization of fluorine from 85 to 97%.
