摘要
A study was made of the effect of chlorides of magnesium, calcium, strontium and barium in amounts up to 20 mol% on the electrocapillary properties of a system consisting of lead and molten chlorides of sodium and potassium. It is shown that with an increase in the cation radius of alkaline earth metals there is a decrease in the stability of the complex anions formed by them, which leads to a decrease in the surface activity of these complexes and to a decrease in their effect on the interphase tension of the boundary between lead and molten chlorides of sodium and potassium.
