摘要：
Megapac multiprotocol packet switching exchanges have now been enhanced to interconnect local area networks over any type of long distance network. They operate as remote bridges, routers and gateways. They also perform the switching functions so as to offer all data transmission services in optimum conditions. The network management tools available also provide real time status information and ensure optimum network operation.
