摘要
Due to the constantly rising prices for precious metals, great efforts are made to use them only to a very small degree for coating contact material, such as plug connectors, destined for the electrotechnical and electronical industry. A successful way for cutting consumption of precious metals which is widely followed and which offers the lowest risk - if any - with regard to quality is selective upgrading. But in order to obtain profitable coatings by this process it became necessary to develop specific concepts for plants, which are presented in this article.
