ZV2 gas-insulated switchboards from ABB are now available for rated voltages of up to 52 kV. The combination of SF6 technology, vacuum circuit-breaker, and PYRAMID integrated protection and control has produced compact installations exhibiting high levels of safety and operational reliability. ZV2 switchboards can be used for a wide range of configurations, are gastight over their lifetime, and require virtually no maintenance. Their vacuum circuit-breakers are capable of large numbers of operating cycles and function reliably even under extreme conditions. The ZV2 switchboard incorporates ergonomic principles, is user-friendly and environmentally sound.
