BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS: 1982-1983.

The Biomedical Research Program, within the Office of Space Science and Applications of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, was established to investigate the major physiological and psychological problems encountered by man when he undertakes spaceflight. Research supported by this program is divided into the following areas: cardiovascular deconditioning; motion sickness; bone alterations; muscle atrophy; blood cell alterations; fluid and electrolyte changes; radiation effects and protection; behavior and performance; and, general biomedical research. The arrangement of references in this bibliography follows this division of research. Articles are listed alphabetically by author under the research area with which they are most closely related. Only 1982-1983 publications which resulted from research supported by the Biomedical Research Program have been included. This listing is not complete; it only includes references identified and entered into the Life Sciences Bibliography Data Base as of July 1983.
