Generation of multi-wavelength ultra-short optical pulses by utilizing a fiber ring laser pumped supercontinuum in an optical fiber

Adopting an optical ring laser as the optical source, and a dispersion shifted fiber as the nonlinear medium, utilizing the nonlinear effect of optical fiber, the supercontinuum spectrum signal was generated. The spectrum width is over 40 nm, after filtered by the F-P cavity and tunable filter, 12 ultra-short optical pulses with different wavelengths were obtained successfully. The wavelength separation is 3.5 nm and the repetition rate in 2.5 GHZ.
