A theoretical and experimental investigation of the processes of steam condensation in a turbine stage is considered. This investigation shows the possibility of intensive condensation even with comparatively low supercooling of the flow. The proposed method of determination of the number and dimensions of liquid particles appearing during condensation in vortices shows acceptable agreement with the experiment and can be recommended for use in calculating condensation in the flow-through turbine parts.
