A computational model is developed and stresses are calculated for the microhoneycomb structure under conditions of the uniformly distributed tension-compression load. It is shown that variation of the structure completeness coefficient K//c within 0. 5 - 0. 9 has a comparatively small effect on the stress value and strength of parts. It is established that crystallization centers on the sintered capillaries which sharply decrease their strength and strength of the material on the whole, but not geometrical parameters of the structure are the reason of low strength of microhoneycomb materials mode of quartz glass. Quite satisfactory coincidence of calculated and experimetnal values of strength for the microhoneycomb material is noted. To increase strength of microhoneycomb articles it is suggested to decrease the K//c value to the level of 0. 5 - 0. 6.
