摘要
The work reported herein is based on the newly developed statistical thermodynamic approach, making use of free-volume theory, to explain the properties of zinc-bearing binary substitutional solutions. A comparison of the experimental data on these systems with the calculated values based on expressions developed in this approach shows a very good agreement and explains successfully the asymmetric behavior of certain systems.
