摘要
The progress made in electronics and digital computers has made it possible to raise the basic concept underlying the Beuken model to the level of the present state of the art. The new generation of modular Beuken models use integrated model elements and hybridization as relected in the incorporation of digital elements in the Beuken model and the processing of measured values and process data in the model. One outcome of this development has been the small hybrid simulating system SKODA which uses the modular Beuken model as analog processor and a number of further special-design Beuken models and simulators of controlled thermal processes. As the new modular Beuken models present the same positive characteristics as the conventional Beuken model, such as simplicity, lucidity and a low price level, they can well be expected to be widely used regardless of further progress made in simulation.
