Track diameter as a function of particle fluence is given for electrochemically etched fission fragment tracks. It is shown, that high particle fluence decreases the developability of electrochemically etched tracks. Therefore dependence of senisitivity on particle fluence was studied for polyester Melinex 0 and poly(allyl diglycol) carbonate CR-39. Continuously decreasing sensitivity was found even in the case when tracks-overlapping does not occur. Conclusions for correct interpretation of response are suggested.
