摘要
The recently developed high-pressure stannic halide discharge lamp is considered. The spectrum of this lamp is characterized to a major extent by a quasi-continuous molecular radiation producing excellent color rendering (R//a equals 85 minus 95). By simply changing the stannic halide dopage the color temperature can be varied in a range from 3000 K to 6000 K. Here, color temperature and color rendering index is indicated to be practically independent of life and supply voltage fluctuations. These excellent properties in conjunction with a 65 lm/W efficacy bring a wide variety of applications, especially in interior lightning.
