摘要
The speed increase of modern railway transports poses the need for more and more exact evaluation of dynamic effects on the general behavior of structures. It is therefore essential to dispose of an appropriate instrumentation able to point out the strains caused on them by the train sets at different speeds, for a comparison with the theoretical ones. A description is given of the methods and the means concerning the tests carried out on a span of the ″Paglia″ Viaduct on the ″Direttissima″ Rome-Florence, the strains of which under load have been calculated with the aid of electronic equipment.
