Some criteria of selecting the filtration equipment for the filtration of pigmented lacquer products have been discussed. Technical data and characteristic of candle and slot filters as well as their evaluation has been given. An empirical mathematical expression has been given for calculation of the filtration yield in the function of pressure and viscosity of the liquid filtered.
