Gas-lift equipment for wells utilizing annular space for fluid lifting

To broaden the application field of the gas-lift method of oil production and also utilize western Siberian gas-lift wells more efficiently, measures were initiated for perfecting the commercial production of new gas-lift equipment and cable tools within a short duration. The designed system LNT-73B-35 operates like an annular gas lift with provision to utilize pump and compressor pipes for injecting gas at high pressure and annular space for fluid lifting. Compared with the general method, the designed scheme helps increase by two or three times the well output with a high output coefficient. Further, this eliminates special requirements of hermetic sealing of the cased column.
