摘要：
The need for comprehensive television transmission standards is discussed from the standpoint of the television network user of common carrier facilities to interconnect affiliated stations. the current use of multiple satellite and terrestrial microwave systems in tandem to achieve an end-to-end connection has increased the need for common standards. Data on existing system continuity and quality is cited in support of the parameters proposed as standards in the EIA revision of RS250A ″Electrical Performance Standards for Television Relay Facilities″ .
