The SPE Automotive Division's first annual International Plastics in Automotive Safety Conference was held February 7, 2000. The conference was attended by 170 automotive and plastics industries specialists. Conference speakers and panelists represented both the private and public sectors, automakers, automotive suppliers, safety advocates, and government regulators.
