An ion-selective electrode with a plasticized polyvinyl chloride membrane based on dodecyltrimethylammonium pertechnetate (DDTMAP) selective to pertechnetate ions was studied. The possibility of using this electrode for technetium determination in aqueous solutions of irradiated nuclear fuels was shown. The coefficients of selectivity were determined by measuring electrode potentials in KTcO4 solution and in the presence of an interference ion. It is established that the pertechnetate-selective electrode based on DDTMAP can be used for determination of Tc(VII) in aqueous solutions of complex salt composition.
