摘要
The properties of an improved refractory magnesia-spinel zirconia (MAZ) product for minimizing fluxing during brickmaking were discussed. The product was made by adding a finely fused alumina-zirconia grain to a magnesia-spinel brick. The brick formed had a high hot strength at 1480° centigrade and minimized the formation of calcium aluminates and zirconates by preventing fluxing.
