摘要：
The basic equations of elastic dielectrics with polarization inertia are given. These equations are particularized for the case of one dimensional rigid dielectrics. In the case of strong shocks, an infinite system of differential equations in terms of the speed and the amplitude of the shock and of the induced weaker waves is obtained. A numerical approach is presented for an approximate solution to this system.
