摘要
The authors have constructed a mathematical model for a flow reactor on the basis of the Navier-Stokes and Reynolds equations closed with the help of the (q- epsilon ) turbulence model. They have made a numerical study of the laminar and turbulent regimes of the reactor, evaluated the influence of twisting of the inlet stream and perforated partition on the length of the separation zone in the reactor. They consider the influence of the latter zone on the reaction of esterification of adipic acid by methanol for different inputs of initial reagents into the reactor.
