摘要
In electric drive, a microprocessor based control system promises several distinct advantages. Foremost among them is the flexibility. The control scheme is implemented in the software. Therefore, to change the control scheme in order to obtain different drive characteristics only software needs to be modified with minimal or no change in the hardware. Further, the use of microprocessor provides improved performance in speed regulation response time and resolution. In the present paper the authors have discussed the use of a microprocessor in order to get speed variation as well as to obtain a desired speed of a tape-recorder motor.
