摘要
A quality control system was jointly developed by Voest-Alpine Industrieanlagenbau and Voest-Alpine Stahl, Linz. The VAI-Q Strip system was installed at the 7-stand hot strip mill and allows accurate on-line prediction of the mechanical properties of hot rolled strip. The prediction model has been in continuous operation since mid-1997 and has proven to be both accurate and stable.
