摘要
The modular structure of digital transmission systems is illustrated and a few standard combinations are described for designing complete systems. A distinction is made between the modulators and multiplexers for assembling a transmission band and the link or line equipment for transmission via balanced and coaxial copper cables, optical fibers and radio relay links.
