High efficiency organic nonlinear crystal MHBA and its second harmonic generation

摘要
In this paper, phase-matched second harmonic generations in a novel organic material MHBA was obtained. The high conversion efficiency of 58.94% for 1.06μm to 0.532μm conversion (Q-switched Nd:YAG laser) was firstly realized in organic crystal. Moreover, strong blue-violet light output was observed, its continuous tunable wavelength is 400-450nm. Conversion efficiency of about 6% for 0.83%μm to 0.415μm conversion was obtained.
