摘要：
The first successful intercalation of sulfur into graphite, in association with potassium, is reported. Several ternary compounds have been observed, but they are not yet entirely isolated. It appears that the intercalated sheets exhibit a classical stacking of three layers (K-S-K) so that along the c-axis there are regularly alternating electropositive and electronegative planes.
