摘要
The article describes a new method of high current transfer for electrode arms for steelmaking electric arc furnaces. In this method the electric conducting system is integrated in the conventional electrode arm construction using copper plated steel for this purpose. First operational results and practical operations have confirmed the total concept of the arc furnace with current conducting electrode arms including water cooled electrodes.
