摘要
The computer simulation system of 'Polygon' envisages the traditional determinate computation of casting processes. A practical solution for prediction of shrinkage defects can look as a set of possible distributions of the porosity fields, obtained in one operation with due regard for probability variations. The general principle of numerical simulation is considered as applied to temperature distribution in casting. this example illustrates the operation principle of computer simulation systems, providing a search of initial parameters for assurance of defects absence.
