Renovation gives robots a new lease of life

Maser's robot maintenance programs involve checking each robot every six months so that a breakdown never occurs. A renovation may include some modernization or some improvement of the robot. Maser has developed ways of obtaining a better reliability. ABB Flexible Automation is in the process of setting up an international network for robot renovation. A renovated robot is considered as an economic investment by customers because it costs half the price of a new one with the equivalent performance.
