摘要
A method of optimization of process parameters in arc welding has been discussed in this paper. In the method, a mathematical model for the molten pool in welding is applied to estimate the optimum process parameters, and the welding temperature detected by IR sensors is used to identify the model. The computer system developed in the present study makes a real time optimization of the process parameters possible for thin plate TIG-arc welding.
