ZEELAND REFRIGERATING STERN TRAWLER.

A member of the Yssel-Vliet Combinatie B. V. - YVC - the shipyard Ysselwerf B. V. of Capelle a/d Yssel recently delivered the sterntrawler Zeeland which was constructed to the order of messrs. Jaczon of Scheveningen, the Netherlands. One of the principal features of these ships are the refrigerating and freezing plants constructed and installed by Grenco Refrigeration B. V. of 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. The Zeeland has two decks, a propulsion plant with controllable pitch propeller, a bulbous bow and has been arranged for ocean-wide stern trawling. The ship's accommodation has living quarters for 27 people and is so arranged that the cabins can be adapted to accommodate a complement of 43 persons.
