摘要
The current status and future trends in cold sawing are reviewed. Topics include developments in tool materials, measurements for increasing the tool stability in band sawing, increasing the cutting rate in hacksawing, noise abatement in the operation of circular saws, and new sawing techniques including electric discharge and combined thermomechanical sawing.
