Experimental data on varying radial gaps in the diaphragm seal of the 17th stage of the medium-pressure cylinder and differences in the temperatures of the top and bottom of the casing of the medium-pressure cylinder of the turbine K-300-240 LMZ under different operating conditions are presented. Recommendations are given on prevention of radial grazing.
