Principle and equipment of laser processing

摘要
Laser processing technology has been rapidly developed since 1970's due to the achievements of a high-quality laser beam in brightness, monochromaticity, orientation and coherence. This article illustrates the principle and the characteristics of laser processing technique. Some lasers and machines for laser processing are introduced with tables of commonly used lasers and their performances.
