摘要
The Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansens were inaugurated with the Series 0 EMU trains followed by the Series 100, 300, 500 trains, and the Series 700 train which was put into commission on March 13, 1999. In this article, a brief progress of developing these trains and an outline of the Series 700 EMU train are dealt with.
