摘要：
The new European Gas Directives and the German Competition Law present a strategic challenge for the gas industry. The natural gas market is being reformed. Gas companies are focusing on their core areas of competence. Alliances and cooperation strengthen their position in the competitive market. A fast joint growth of two leading energy forms, gas and electricity, is expected.
