摘要
An ultrasonic wave motor, conceived on quite a different basis from previous motors, has been commercialized. It does not use electromagnetic action, which is the driving principle behind a majority of motors, instead this motor produces progressive ultrasonic wave oscillation in which the piezoelectric ceramic is adhered to an elastic body; the oscillation energy causes the movement of a rotor which is pressed and connected to a stator.
