摘要：

The nature of information flows in large organizations is examined to determine the needs and the structure of the working stations of an Information System. The use of Distributed Systems is considered as an alternative to the centralized approach, reducing the size of the machines involved, and differentiating their functions. Then a classification is made of the distributed computing systems with the presentation of some of them both experimental and commercial.
