Alignment of Rotary Kilns and Correction of Roller Settings during Operation.

This article is concerned with a new method of realigning rotary kilns while they are in operation, The methods employed are discussed. With the new method the kiln can be accurately centered while in operation, in the following cases: changes in the kiln axis and inclination, horizontal twist of the roller axes, and change in the operating angle of the rollers.
