'Bang Chui Dao' is the first ro-ro/passenger ship built in Holland for the People's Republic of China. The vessel comprises complete day and night accommodation for a maximum of 938 passengers and a 89 crew complement over four decks. For short international voyages, it is expected that only 471 passengers will be carried. The interior style is not Chinese, but West European. The vessel has two decks available for truck storage: the main deck and the hold. The main deck can accommodate up to 69 trucks of 10m or a total or lane length of 700m. The hold is primary meant for cars as this area happened to be relatively confined.
