摘要
Wear progress between a gear made of polyacetal copolymer and a gear made of steel was investigated by measuring the changes of backlash while meshing the two gears using the electrostatic capacity method. As a result, smaller backlashes than previously were observed occasionally due to thermal expansion of the polyacetal gear. The higher was the load applied, the higher was the rate of wear, irrespective of the speed of rotation.
