The issues related to efficient management of Europen general aviation (GA) are discussed. European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is making a move to make things easier for FAA-approved modifications to US aircraft. Search and rescue (SAR) should be taken out of the draft costbase for air navigation service provision. EASA by 2010 would get responsibility for licensing air traffic control officers and certification of the ATC systems.
